Harry Car Rental Ltd \u2013 Terms and Conditions<\/p>\n\n

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using Harry Car Rental Ltd.\u2019s services. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully.<\/p>\n\n

1.\u00a0Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

1.1\u00a0Age Requirement<\/strong>: Renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

1.2\u00a0Driver\u2019s License<\/strong>: All drivers must hold a valid driver\u2019s license that is at least two year old. International drivers must present a valid passport and may be required to show an International Driving Permit.<\/p>\n\n

1.3 Young Driver Fees<\/strong>: A young driver excess of Rs 5,000 + Rs 25,000 applies.<\/p>\n\n

2.\u00a0Rental Period and Usage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

2.1\u00a0Rental Period<\/strong>: The rental period begins when you pick up the vehicle and ends when the vehicle is returned to our designated location by the agreed return time.<\/p>\n\n

2.2\u00a0Usage<\/strong>: The vehicle must be used solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:<\/p>\n\n

  • Use the vehicle for racing, towing, or off-road activities.<\/li>\n\n
  • Operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substance.<\/li>\n\n
  • Allow anyone not listed in the rental agreement to operate the vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    3.\u00a0Rates, Fees, and Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    3.1\u00a0Rental Rates<\/strong>: Rental rates are determined based on the selected vehicle category, rental duration, and any optional services at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n

    3.2 Advance Payment<\/strong>: Rental and deposit fees ( Rs 25,000) must be paid up on arrival.<\/p>\n\n

    3.3\u00a0Additional Fees<\/strong>: Additional fees may apply for:<\/p>\n\n

    • Late returns<\/li>\n\n
    • Additional drivers<\/li>\n\n
    • Fuel charges if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank<\/li>\n\n
    • Damage or excessive cleaning required upon return<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      3.3\u00a0Payment<\/strong>: Full payment is required at the start of the rental period. We accept major credit cards, debit cards and cash.<\/p>\n\n

      4.\u00a0Insurance and Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      4.1\u00a0Basic Insurance<\/strong>: The rental includes basic third-party liability coverage as required by law. Renters are liable for damage to or theft of the rental vehicle.<\/p>\n\n

      4.2\u00a0Insurance Policy<\/strong>: The renter is prohibited from allowing others to drive the vehicle, except for approved persons, to avoid voiding the insurance.<\/p>\n\n

      4.3\u00a0Damage Liability<\/strong>: Renters are responsible for any damage, theft, or loss to the vehicle that is not covered by insurance, as well as any related deductible amounts.<\/p>\n\n

      5.3 in case of accident or any damages to the car clients would have to pay an excess of Rs 25,000<\/p>\n\n

      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Young driver excess Rs 30,000<\/p>\n\n

      5.\u00a0Vehicle Condition and Return<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      5.1\u00a0Inspection<\/strong>: Vehicles are inspected before pickup and after return. Renters must report any noticeable issues upon pickup and are responsible for any new damage at return.<\/p>\n\n

      5.2 Inspection Rights<\/strong>: The rental company reserves the right to inspect the vehicle at any time.<\/p>\n\n

      5.3\u00a0Fuel Policy<\/strong>: Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Renters must return the vehicle with a full tank or pay a refuelling fee.<\/p>\n\n

      5.4\u00a0Late Returns<\/strong>: Late returns may result in additional charges, up to a full day\u2019s rental rate. Extensions may be arranged by contacting us 24 hours before the original return time.<\/p>\n\n

      6.\u00a0Cancellations and Refunds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      6.1\u00a0Cancellation Policy<\/strong>: Please refer to our\u00a0https:\/\/harrycarrental.com\/index.php\/refund_returns-2\/ for details on cancellation and refund eligibility.<\/p>\n\n

      7.\u00a0Privacy and Data Protection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      7.1\u00a0Data Collection<\/strong>: We collect personal information necessary for providing rental services, including name, contact information, and payment details.<\/p>\n\n

      7.2\u00a0Data Protection<\/strong>: Your information is protected under our Privacy Policy, and we do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.<\/p>\n\n

      8.\u00a0Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      8.1Harry Car Rental Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, or loss of profits. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the renter for the rental period.<\/p>\n\n

      8.2\u00a0Liability for Fines<\/strong>: The renter is liable for any fines or legal issues during the rental period.<\/p>\n\n

      9.\u00a0Governing Law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.<\/p>\n\n

      10.\u00a0Amendments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

      Harry Car Rental Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.<\/p>\n\n
